Employees of 3D Networks, customers
and technology partners had the opportunity to listen to Yoon Mun Chiew, CEO of
Planet One, who spoke at the 3D Networks Annual Forum, 2004 and shared his
inner-most belief – of what he calls the Circle of Virtue.
“You
are all in this room and it is good to say we work for this company and we work
for our customers. However, deep down, we all know that the ultimate objective
is to do good to ourselves. There is nothing wrong with that. Everybody, at the
end of the day has to look after his own interest. Having said that, I have a
very simple secret, which I want to share with all of you. If you look after the
customer, the customer will look after the company and the company will look
after you. It goes on and on and on. This is what I call the Circle of Virtue. Take
care of the customer and everything will take care of itself. When you do
something for the customer, the benefit will flow back to you. When you look
after the customer, the customer looks after you. This is the culture I hope to
inculcate within the group. We, at the end of the day exist for the customer.
Because we exist for ourselves.”
