End-user organisations and technology leaders network
and share views at the 3D Networks Annual Forum, 2004,
Phuket, Thailand.
3D
Networks, India Branch held its second Annual Forum in Phuket from May 5th to
7th.
The Forum was not only a marker of
the impressive success of the 3D Networks enterprise in India, but was more
significantly an exploration of how technology principals, SIs and customers,
can together engage the times ahead.
The occasion presented an excellent
opportunity for the delegates from end-user organizations, technology leaders
and deployment specialists to mingle, exchange, discuss and debate technology
road maps, expectations and challenges.
Everyone agreed that the agenda
was rich in content and variety and delegates described the event as a
“knowledge-loaded convention”, “a tremendously well-organized event whose
scope reflected the growing status of 3D Networks...”, and “a truly
memorable event, rich in content ...”.
The theme of the conference was “Dream,
Dare, Do” and was tailored to fit the objectives of the conference in mind
– Dream of building a perfectly connected world; dare to cross new frontiers
in technology; do things differently and with unlimited exuberance.
Speaking at the Forum, Yoon
Mun Chiew , CEO of
Planet One (3D Networks is a Planet One Company) said that the
secret to success was simple. “Look after the customer and the customer will
look after you. I call it the Circle of Virtue”
Further re-iterating this thought, S
K Jha, Regional Director of 3D Networks, India, SAARC and Middle East said “3D
Networks has made impressive strides in India and the region and will continue
to grow with a combination of technical expertise and excellence in customer
service delivery. Our team is in no mood for complacency and our goal is to
become the No.1 SI in India and the region, in the next two years.”
The 3-day event was held at the exotic locales of the
Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, situated in the heart of Karon Beach,
one of the most beautiful beaches of Phuket’s west coast.
